From November 2-5, Metcalfe will attend the Healthcare Design Expo + Conference in New Orleans, LA. The conference brings together architects and designers, hospital staff and product manufacturers to explore best practices and the latest trends in healthcare design.

At Metcalfe, we use our design expertise and take a patient and family-centered approach to transform intimidating healthcare spaces into extraordinary environments. Our work creates opportunities for play, respite, and positive distraction within healthcare. We believe firmly that these enhancements to the built environment have a positive impact on a healthcare journey in both pediatric and adult facilities.  

We recently completed several projects at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia including an expansive series of interactive exhibits, environmental graphics and wayfinding throughout their new Buerger Center for Advanced Pediatric Care.
