Hospitals can design isolation rooms that not only meet the infection control needs of the patient and staff but meet patients’ emotional needs as well. We explore how to improve patient’s experiences throughout their healthcare journey, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic.

From November 2-5, Metcalfe will attend the Healthcare Design Expo + Conference (link) in New Orleans, LA. The conference brings together architects and designers, hospital staff and product manufacturers to explore best practices and the latest trends in healthcare design.
