It is with great sadness that we share the passing of our friend Aaron Goldblatt.

For more than twenty years, Aaron helped push our team to consider the full range of human experience in our work. His dedication to the power of play and informal learning, as well as exhibition design and museum planning, transformed our studio into the place we are today.

Aaron was respected by all who worked with him. His generosity, wisdom, and passion for play emanated throughout every conversation, punctuated only by his wit and sense of humor. While we would not be the studio we are today without him, we know that his influence—as a colleague, a mentor, and a friend— will live on in the many projects and people that he touched throughout the years.

In lieu of flowers, Aaron requested gifts be made to organizations making positive change in the world. Think supporting science education (like the Wagner Free Institute) and the arts (like The Print Center), investing in communities, or generally making trouble for the powers that be.
