Delaware Valley Friends School approached us to help conceptualize their new outdoor playscape. 

We met with the school’s parent/faculty advisory staff to discuss their wants and needs, and brainstorm some solutions. It was clear from our discussions, that creating an area for the whole school to gather needed to be integral to our thinking. 

By using the gathering area as an organizing component, we were able to connect both the linear play environment (east-west) and the upper and lower sports fields (north-south).

The journey from one end of the playscape to the other, creates unique experiences, accommodating varied interests and personalities.
