Master Plan, Colegio Karl C. Parrish

Barranquilla, Colombia

We helped Colegio Karl C. Parrish, a K-12 school in Barranquilla, Colombia, rethink their current campus through a master plan to grow their student body of 750 students.

Our team worked with school leadership, staff/teachers, students, parents, and both school boards to help them reimagine their campus. Through multi-day engagement sessions, we were able to understand not only the spatial needs of the campus’s existing and proposed buildings, but also the spaces between the buildings, including the arrival sequence. Getting to know the school’s important events, rituals, and spaces helped us understand their culture and how we could incorporate that into the campus planning.
