Leading Metcalfe’s push towards a progressive, efficient professional practice by adopting advanced technologies, Dave focuses on the craft of construction, building technology, and steering projects through documentation to completion. Both in the field and on the drawing board, he is supremely proficient in detailing, building systems integration, and building and zoning code analysis.

At Metcalfe, his portfolio includes the Mastery Charter School Gillespie Campus, Wissahickon Charter School Awbury Campus, Camp JRF Eco Village, Settlement Music School Germantown, Thomas Jefferson University Hospital Gibbon Hall, CODA Live Music Venue, Widener University MacMorland Commons, Sheridan Street Housing, Skypark Condos, and several private residences.

When not on the job, Dave can probably be found endeavoring with his wife to renovate their classic Philadelphia trinity row house—unless he has retreated to his woodshop or escaped on his motorcycle.

Dave is a graduate of Drexel University’s 2+4 Bachelor of Architecture program.
