Anita joined Metcalfe as a graphic designer in 2019, after graduating from West Chester University with a BFA in Graphic and Interactive Design and a minor in Web Technology and Applications. At Metcalfe, she has loved learning about what goes into designing experiences. She has immersed herself in healthcare projects, designing environmental graphics for CHOP and the Children’s Hospital of King’s Daughters in Norfolk, VA. She is passionate about getting the details right and works with hospital clients to develop graphic strategies that are sensitive to the potential anxieties of their patients, enhancing their well-being.
For her college thesis, Anita designed an interactive app that connects city visitors to the sites and restaurants based off of a series of questions. She looks forward to incorporating those skills into projects for Metcalfe.
Anita recently moved to South Philly. She enjoys supporting Philadelphia’s local artists, frequenting artist markets and shows when she can.
